A DJ in Arkansas is in jail after refusing point blank to lower the volume at the request of police officers.

Unfortunately for DJ Bobby Joe Gibbs, 32, he was carrying a stolen, concealed firearm at the time. He is also accused of endangering a minor — 32 times. And of course obstruction of justice, as well as disturbing the peace.

During an event at the Forest City Civic Center, Gibbs was asked by local police to turn it down, which he refused, saying, “That’s what I do.” After refusing several more requests he was arrested and searched. That is when police discovered the 9mm pistol on his person.

Gibbs is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. He was scheduled to appear yesterday.
