Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, The Nightwatchman) lead a protest through Manhattan yesterday to commemorate the passing of International Workers Day. Das Racist was there to help, along with Immortal Technique and Dan Deacon. You can watch the Ustream video below.
Morello’s “guitarmy” marched from Madison Square Park to Union Square, singing and playing protest songs as they marched. Morello carrying a guitar he had emblazoned with the phrase “Fuck Spartacus” sang a cover of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land is My Land” with an extra verse he added for the occupy protest movement.
There was a big high wall there that tried to stop me,
Sign was painted, it said private property,
But on the back side it didn’t say nothing,

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
